Shame CW.

We'll do Henley if it's on. Otherwise Marlow.

I'm a vest-hater! Even when I'm doing a club race it's something I pull on relucantly as they are really uncomfortable and chafe under the armpits! I can live with it being my club colours etc (and can put a tech t-shirt underneath if it is cool enough), but would never in a month of Sundays wear a vest for training etc. Maybe it's just my flabby arms!

I've got one race memento that's a vest. It's now a historical artefact (JW Ultra, 2010). It hardly ever gets an airing because if I'm going to wear an attention-seeking vest I usually go for the Thomas the Tank Engine one that the NAS provided for FLM 2003.

I use vests when it's warm & I'm not carrying a pack, but some people never use them; I doubt there's anyone here who never uses short-sleeved shirts. With a vest memento, I suspect there's a bigger risk it'll never be used by some of the finishers. I trust this isn't going to get me characterised as an angry mob.

T shirts are only for winter wear. If the temperature is above 10C then its a vest. If we have a summer, then I'm in a crop top! Races are always club vest or crop top.

I MUST NOT PARKRUN THIS WEEK! As I did last week and found partway that my leg knack was not yet fixed. parkrun as first proper run back after two weeks pretty stupid anyway and doing it at my NENYD, where I pushed on to put one on the board instead of stopping after the first lap when the damage was minimal was doubly stupid.

I've emailed to volunteer this week.

As someone who ‘perspires freely’ I like a vest for any sort of hard run, or any run at all on a hot day. Horrible sweat-clingy sleeves get right on my nerves!
