Years ago, I received running shorts as a 'spot' prize. As the prize presentations were in a pub, I resisted the temptation to try them for fit...:0

4VHM gave out socks a few years ago - they went down well, and cause no embarrassment at the end of the race putting them on! As they went for green socks, they are a touch distinctive when you see them on fellow runners at events.

I've got enough tech t-shirts now, I've had a couple of nice cotton ones which I wear a lot (Conwy Half and South Cheshire 20).

parkrun t-shirts are for parkrun day only of course.

Talking t-shirts, my kids 50s have finally all turned up, and as we needed to send one back (it looked like a dress on my 13 year old) I can report that their returns / replacement process actually worked very quickly!!

I’ve just checked again the “Club progress” link on my parkrun profile page to check on my latest milestone shirt, but the page is disabled due to technical issues, and has been for some days.....

Lol Gobi. Where's the +1 for that?!

Cateran is a Quaich (i.e. small whisky cup). Possibly similarly inappropriate? But very cute!

I like hats n buffs. Cateran, West Highland Way and lots of ultras do hats and buffs.

Bags are good. Brass Monkey half did a rucksack, I think. Cateran did a wee holdall thing (yes, they give away a lot of goodies! No t-shirt though!) :-) G

Got a mug once. (Glen Clova half) It’s my drinking vessel of choice whenever I do a race that asks you to bring your own for post-race refreshments.

Most useful race goodies: Buckie Lugger shopping bag from Speyside Way, bags from Cateran (we use as swimming/kit bags), shoe bag from Forfar 10k.

Also love the quaich and crystal goblet from whw race
