SPR, I find that my HR is often lower than what Garmin wants me to do for easy runs - that's why my training is extremely polarised. According to my January stats, I had a distribution of 92% base (Z1-Z3), 7% threshold (Z4), 1% anaerobic (Z5).

Within base, 15% fall under the limit of 65% of LTHR, 47% are in Z1 (65-80% of LTHR), 25% in Z2 (80-89%) and only 5% in Z3 (89-95%). If I do a run in Z2, I still get low aerobic load from Garmin; only if I venture in Z3 long enough, it registers it as high aerobic.

And thanks, I'll hang out on the polarised training thread - yet another interesting thread to watch :)

Rosehip
BB- 80

SC- 78, fair.

HRV - balanced

Train readiness - moderate

Train status - maintaining, low aerobic overage

Sleep score 71 fair, shorter than ideal
Recommended run - recovery 30min @14.45, again. Changed from the 7x1 minute it was suggesting and tomorrow is now a 3 hour long run.

My ‘plan’ has another 5x3 minutes, should go do that but a recovery 30 mins is tempting

(My plan says optional 45min recovery to easy depending how you feel)

I think my watch and your watch have been talking overnight, Rosehip
BB 80 up from 18
SS 78, fair, 6:35 hours, a bit shorter than recommended but continuous
Training status - maintaining, low aerobic overage, anaerobic shortage
recommended run: base 44 min 9:15
I've got a 14 miler coming up today, let's see if the watch likes that one :)

RHR is a bit high, 49. I think that's the accumulated training. I'm looking forward to 2 recovery days after today.

BB 100 now 79 but down 12 so Garmin can't do maths
SS 88 Good
HRV overnight 84 average 71 Balance
Suggested 37 mins threshold

Last night I did a VERY easy MAF run and had 9hrs recovery :-o I am recovered I am pleased to see
RHR may possibly be looking like it's lowering

Yesterday I also got a "well done your restful day has reduced your recovery" message

BB is 70 now, was 100 before my run.
Sleep Score 87 good
RHR at 46

Training suggestion was "base 10:00/mi 45:00" I ignored that cos I had a slow 8 miler on my schedule.

My training load is low and I have an anaerobic shortage, otherwise it's happy with me. The watch hasn't changed today's recommendation so yesterday's walks (3, totalling 9.7 miles, none hard) must have been accepted as Rest. It wants me to do 8 x 40s at 6.40mm pace. I'll see how I feel about that after a couple of easy miles.

Legs really didn’t want to put any effort in today and 30 minutes wasn’t enough when it’s such a lovely day so standard hour easy was what I did
Who needs a plan anyway? ;)

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
