I hope you had a good race, SPR :)

I don't have the weekend programmed in for long days. I'm more likely to do things other than running on weekends and run when eL Bee! is at work during the week. If I check back in a couple of days there could be longer runs suggested for Saturday and Sunday. But it appears not to be sensitive enough to pick up how long and how fast (slow!) I typically run and use that to build up my training.

Moving in the right direction but not as fast as I'd like Vrap. Hopefully patience pays off in the long run though.

Under settings (in the same place you see your 7 days) you can pick two long run days (I think it defaults to Saturday and Sunday), might make the suggestions work a bit better with your plan. I also changed mine to HR rather than pace in that section.

Depends on the model Ness My fenix 6 is apparently too old! So I can't add the race widget and the suggestions don't reflect the races

Ah. Thanks, Pix. That explains it. My Forerunner 745 is also probably too old.

Todays suggestion is a rest day (but that’s might be because I set Sunday as rest? Although where that setting would be I have no idea)

I'm recovering as expected so Garmin thinks I should do another threshold session, this time 41 minutes at 160 BPM or 7:55. That would take me to 5.2 miles of continuous tempo running. It also estimates the training load to be 3.8 for that session.

Sorry Garmin, not today, I've got a long run planned with some running at marathon pace. I hope that it's going to be satisfied with that.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
