I have an anaerobic deficit and it's deducted a point from my VO2 max, but my HRV is moving closer to being acceptable.

I moved the summary from the watch face without reading it this moning and then couldn’t get any sense out of garmin connevt at all, did the Garmin server have another outage? However many times I tried to sync it kept saying wear watchnovernight for sleep data, hrv will be shown when you have worn yorn watch for two weeks - or something like that anyway.

Now it says maintaining…. High aerobic shortage, optimal load, hrv is balanced but trending towards high, unusually.

My Garmin has told me I'm going into the Build phase of marathon training, the dates of the various phases, and the date of the race. And to sort out my anaerobic deficit by doing 48min at 10.30mm.

I’m still in it’s base phase for the events it knows about - but it still nags about anaerobic and high aerobic shortage.

Does this actually work if you tell Garmin about a race? I entered the 10k race last Saturday but I didn't have the impression that it changed anything in the recommendations. Ok, I only put it there about 10 days before the race so this may be too short. I'll put in the marathon and see what I get after that.

I told mine about the marathon back in December but this is the first time it's acknowledged it.

Ooh! Haven't told my Garmin about my races. Is that through the Garmin Connect website?

Yes, you can add events to your calendar on Garmin Connect. Leipzig marathon is a public event that I could just add to my calendar. If your event doesn't exist, you can create it yourself just like you could add races to the race database on fetch.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
