silly garmin!

When I was teaching I "learned" to lie very still despite being very much awake in bed (not wanting to disturb Mr Pix) so I do sometimes get better sleep scores than I feel I should

7 hours of uninterrupted sleep for a SS of 84. Good score.
BB up to 85.
Training load focus is still short of anaerobic training despite the mile time trial last night. After being productive since Saturday, it thinks I'm in recovery. Recovery time is 47 hours and I should take it easy today. Oops, I have a 10 mile tempo on the plan. Garmin won't like that.

recovering as expected

SS 66
HRV down to 55 (base is 61+)
8 more hours of recovery but recovering as expected
Training status productive so all is good
go do 36-67 mins of base training (very specific times!)

For me...
Body battery 66/100
Sleep Score 83/100 quality - good
Avg resting hr 47 bpm
Training status maintaining

Today's training suggestion was "rest" and it said that yesterday too! As I have no more training planned for the rest of the day that fits! 😁

I never get rest! I occasionally get Recovery with a reluctant rest if you must
Does this mean Garmin thinks my training is low enough in volume and or HR to train daily? It does moan I have an anaerobic shortage but my training load is optimal

Not sure, Pix. I think splitting my training runs up yesterday for the virtual race confused the algorithm. I don't usually get 2 rest days in the suggestions. Of course, I did ignore it both times!😂

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
