Sigh
On the new Garmins, does the 'body battery' still bottom out at 5, or do they now let you go to zero?

I've got a FR 745 and 5 is the lowest it can go. Even if you suffer from insomnia and don't sleep at all, it just flatlines at 5.

Mr Garmin wanted me to run 44 minutes base but I went for a 20k long run (12.5 miles). Now I need 67 hours recovery. Body battery was at 98 when I got up, now down to 53. If it tells me to exercise again, I'll tell it to shove that...

So it says: your body battery charge has dropped 41 points since noon. You kept your energy levels high today so try to add more activities tomorrow.

A long run isn't good enough, it seems and the recommended rest for 67 hours should be ignored, too 🤣

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to the generation of Garmins which allow you to personalise its' disparaging comments to suit your preferences....

I'm waiting for that Vera (or other tv Detective) episode where they investigate a murder of someone whose Garmin has been hacked and forced to do workouts

Maybe I have a warped mind

100 for my BB :-D but already drained 44 by my run commute

RHR down to my lowest "normal" figure

SS was 90 too excellent it said!

I'll be watching closely now Mr Pix has tested positive for CV19 to see if Mr Garmin knows before me

I went to bed about 11, but couldn’t sleep, got up again at ~1 and moved to sofa. Dozed on and off, had a couple cups of tea, spoke to Husband when he left at 6 and Eldest at 8.30.
Got moving at about 10.

Garm think I slept from 2:20 to 10 and my training readiness is good, boosted by a good sleep.
I don’t agree.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
