Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Garmin is trolling me on almost every metric, but it has just upgraded my VO2 max to 49 so all is forgiven. [Nothing is forgiven]

Training status back to maintaining
however, hrv has dropped low again and rhr has been top of normal range for a few days.

my VO2 max is supposedly 39, it has varied between 38 and 39 since I've had the watch -wonder if I can get it to 40

today's suggestion is 53 minutes base

Today’s suggestion - a base run for 62 mins. It’s chucking it down and blowing a gale. That’s a no.

mine says rest :) because I have set Wednesdays as such for mum visiting reasons, but I won't run today.

Hrv is balanced -but only just, status maintaining.

Mine says an inadequate warm up followed by 7 x 2min@7.20mm with inadequate recoveries. I was scratching my head until I remembered that just because it's parkrun doesn't mean it's Saturday.

Otherwise, it's quite happy with my condition.

My Garmin said 'threshold' which potentially could have happened. It didn't happen because conditions weren't right and parkrun got cancelled. It'll be interesting to see what the training suggestion is tomorrow. My status is still maintaining.

Mine keeps telling me to rest but I’m telling it that there may be snow at the weekend and I don’t like running in snow/ice so I will take rest then

Mine is telling me my body battery is at 6, was only 35 when I woke up this morning. It's not wrong I am shattered

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
