I'd suggest seeing what it says after a night's sleep, Ness.

I’ve had 5 several times
Given what is happening now I expect it won’t increase like normal
I’d not be doing anything hard but a walk or recovery run maybe what your head needs regardless as to what garmin says xx

Good advice. Thanks, Welshpoppy and Pix. I'm thinking a short walk in the morning then taking the car into town to get breakfast. That will make it less stressful if I get a call from the hospital.

Time to worry is if it's still 5 in the morning! Mine was 5 last night, about 40 this morning, went with rest day anyway because the legs were grumbling after yesterday.
Pretty sure that 5 is just a display decision by Garmin, the underlying value would probably go a fair way negative for a hard enough day.
I also got the amusing
Training Readiness 1 Poor Well Done!
for said hard session

The 5 will be reflective of the last 3 days of stress and poor very short sleep
Just take it easy but as I said sometimes your mental health is more important than the Garmin number generator but take it easy x

Mine often hits 5 and rarely charges above 80, i thought it would have changed my scale by now
Since 5 is low for you, see what it says in the morning before you choose what to do - but I'd have an easy training week as the stressful life stuff does take a toll.
