^Thanks, Rosehip. I don't know if it's some kind of self preservation mechanism I've got but I literally zonked out at about 10 last night and slept solidly til 5 this morning. That gave me a body battery score back up to 69 so I thought that would be sufficient for a little walk. 😉

69 would be high enough for me to do a decent session! we work on a different scale :)

just looked - I don't have it in my daily stats and generally ignore it now mine was 70 on Sunday morning before the event
50 yesterday morning - I had an easy day
78 this morning, I will go run but only a little one because it's so warm.

Makes sense. Mr Ness has just reminded me we've got decorators in tomorrow so I might try and do some weight training this afternoon cos I don't know how much disruption we're going to get with them being there. It also frees up tomorrow afternoon to visit mum if necessary. She's unlikely to feel well enough for visiting today.

Is weights two days in a row a good idea? My impression based on you saying that you only got 3 hours sleep the night before is that two days easy (and the disruption day might not be easy) with good nights' sleep may be better than trying to squeeze more training in.

We all do it sometimes and it is easier to tell others not to do it.

Yes. Will give it some thought. Thanks, SPR.

I thought similar

I totally get wanting to stick to your plan but you need to be kind to yourself

It also depends on how stressed and wriggly you're going to feel about the uncertain possibility of missing a planned session.

Exactly, Vrap. It also helped distract. I'd say there's pretty much zero chance of me being able to weight train tomorrow but I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for news from the hospital today.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
