6 hrs sleep - good and restorative, why do I feel like I haven’t slept for a month then?

Watch has given up trying to get me to do the 7x1 min and has gone to VO2 max, 7x2 mins @9:55. Not sure that’s going to be exactly straightforward in this weather.
Only given me a 10 minute warm up again. Not enough!

Another low HRV last night, the watch noted the 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep I had (unusually) but was unimpressed by it, Training Status still Strained, high aerobic overage which I hope will sort itself out over the next four days which are all about easy running. But it gave me 275 training points today for 6 miles of pleasantly hard running and 3 miles of doodling.

After half a mile dog walk (she didn’t want to be out in the rain) I now only have to rest 40hrs 😂.

The storm alert is a classic. My FR 745 sometimes thinks that a storm is coming when I sit in a German high speed train (ICE) that enters a tunnel at 150+ mph. The sudden pressure wave freaks it out :-D - and me too, if I have been napping.

Back to unbalanced again, no idea why I’ve been bumping along the bottom of the range for so long - over a month now.
Keeps saying it might be fatigue - but I think it’s more likely due to inactivity

Anyway, I didn’t do yesterday’s 40 minute base as it was my Pilates class and I always find running after Pilates feels awkward and odd…

So today, instead of another nice base run that it had originally programmed it’s trying to finish me off with ‘sprints’, 7 x 10s @7:05

Really crappy HRV last few weeks for me, i sleep well, i feel fine.

But i never had as long period as this with a HRV so low.

It started during the tapering for my marathon, and was at the lowest point at the marathon.

I read a bit about it and found that some people get low HRV during tapering. But i wonder why i don't snap back to normal :)
Also a few beats higher HR during this time.
Pretty interesting i think.

Mine is v similar, Bowman 🇸🇪 seems to track my lower than usual mileage at the moment


Ignoring it as sleep isn’t too bad and I feel ok

According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
