I wouldn't be changing anything on the advice of wrist based HRV measurements. I'm not strained, I have a very nice life :)

I didn't pay any attention to it to tbh
Like so many things garmin related I look at the data and nod but don't actually pay much attention to it

First ever 100% body battery this morning. I should hope so - was knackered last night, went to bed early, and then had a lie in and missed my gym session. Definitely felt quite perky for the good night's sleep. However, Garmin only gave me 86/100 for sleep. Not enough deep or REM, apparently. Maybe it would reassess the REM part if I told it a little bit about the black dolphin with zips for teeth that chased me and bit me?

I think I had 2 or 3 days where I was 'productive' but now back to maintaining again. Overall...

Body Battery - 30 now and was 77 when I first got up. "Your body battery is down 47 points overall since you woke up. If you have exercise planned, allow plenty of time for recharging."
VO2 max - superior 48
Training status - Maintaining - High Aerobic Shortage
Load - optimal 865
Heat acclimation 1%
Sleep Score - good 82 for 7h 1m "plenty of REM"
HR - resting - 47
Today's training suggestion - "VO2 max 9x2:00@7:45/mi 54:00" ..... Nope too fast for me!

Too fast because of your hip, Ness?

I would have thought you could get sub 8 pace for a couple of minutes at a time and but only it’s safe for you! Maybe you need a track to do speedy stuff on?

Partly because of my hip, Rosehip. I think it has a slightly limiting affect on my stride length, although I am still trying to work on that by doing lunges, squats and stretches as part of my weight training sessions. It might also be a bit of a lack of confidence when I'm out running alone. Maybe I would be faster on a track. I'm not sure.

Garmin doesn’t say much of interest about me right now, but just made me jump with a shrill beep and a “storm alert” on the screen

Since I was resting on my elbow, head on hand, it was right by my ear.
I can see the hr spike.

I’d bet you could get those paces in the right conditions, but wouldn’t want to see you hurt yourself trying

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
