Still maintaining, still low aerobic focus - I think they’ve changed some wording in a few areas of the app

Just realised that my decreasing VO2max is tracking my increasing weight, so at least I mnow how to fix that!

Today’s suggestion is a 90 minute “long” run, which ai need to get out and do

My HRV has been unbalanced or low for a fortnight, but I've been fine, sleeping really well, eating as normal, and not training anywhere close to exhaustion. I don't think it's a Garmin metric I can trust.

And my training load is starting to plummet after a few days without running, but that's OK, trying to manipulate that graph would be letting the tail wag the dog.

I’m fine too, mostly 😂
I don’t think one should move around ones live according to Garmin HRV, but I think it’s fairly interesting and usually correlates well with stress/lots of training poor sleep or illness, when it goes down. And vice versa when it’s good or even high.

But sometimes it doesn’t, and it’s interesting.
Maybe it’s seasonal. Maybe it’s a more hectic time a work (well yes, but not that bad)

Maybe it’s the time of year 🤣. My HRV has gone to unbalanced this morning. I feel as though I slept fairly well and I feel good in myself so I’m ignoring it as well 😁

Strained - “your training load is optimal but hrv indicates accumulated fatigue”

I think there is something not quite right with this and am ignoring it.

Suggestion is 34 mins base, which is what I will do -ish

Garmin was most displeased with my sleep last night, as was I!
It thinks I went to bed at almost 1am rather than 9:15 like I did hmmm
my BB therefore didn't even get to 50 and is now at 18
it still suggested that I do a 46min base run - I walked to work and will jog home

I looked at the stats from yesterday's race - I wore my tri HRM to get the power stat as I thought that would be an interesting one to watch but I am not sure it's worth it. Garmin seems to think that I walked for 10 mins of my race yesterday and that my cadence was all over the shop
so yes I get a power stat (nice to see but I don't use it) but it messes up everything else

Strained.

Has been that way since Snowdonia marathon on 28th October. Have been taking it very easy, my HRV is unbalanced too.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
