But you are also very sceptical of these gadgets and metrics I see the strange things too, but sometimes HRV takes a dive if i feel a bit ill. But this month i have no idea what's going on HRV is totally messed up.

my HRV went up massively when I was following the SPR diet plan long term my HRV is about the same with the odd blip which can be labelled eg cold or mother related stress etc

Mine has shown a similar drop recently without any plausible reason why.
I can only deduce that a recent firmware update (now on version 14.68) has had some unintended consequences).

I can see a trend over time that doesn't correlate with health, training, performance, lifestyle or anything else.
This is the last 4 weeks, but the previous 4 was very similar. Reduced mileage and eating too much?

Mine was down through a couple of weeks of a decent amount of running and has stayed down during a week of low impact cross training. Food intake very ordinary, negligible alcohol, no significant stress. Mildly injured but not ill.

Mine oddly seems to be normal but then i have a baseline range of 33-48 ms and it's averaging 37 currently.
Can get low readings if i have a few gins mind
