Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

But you are also very sceptical of these gadgets and metrics :)
I see the strange things too, but sometimes HRV takes a dive if i feel a bit ill.
But this month i have no idea what's going on :) HRV is totally messed up.

my HRV went up massively when I was following the SPR diet plan
long term my HRV is about the same with the odd blip which can be labelled eg cold or mother related stress etc

Mine has shown a similar drop recently without any plausible reason why.

I can only deduce that a recent firmware update (now on version 14.68) has had some unintended consequences).

I can see a trend over time that doesn't correlate with health, training, performance, lifestyle or anything else.

This is the last 4 weeks, but the previous 4 was very similar.
Reduced mileage and eating too much?

Mine was down through a couple of weeks of a decent amount of running and has stayed down during a week of low impact cross training. Food intake very ordinary, negligible alcohol, no significant stress. Mildly injured but not ill.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
