Executive Summary: Ageing, balding foreign smoker with beer belly stumbles into mid life crisis! Detail Summary: Ran with Feilding Moa Harriers as a colt for a couple of years in the early 70s, then spent the next 32 years puffing away, convinced that I would get back into sport once I had chucked the fags. Life got in the way. Finally, with the big foive oh fast approaching and at a generally low point in life, I sneaked down to the local country park, at dusk, in drizzle, nobody about, and tried a bit of a jog.
