Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Grid Aiming for 08:00-08:30 in my first competitive attempt at a mile. Started strong and was able to keep it up all the way round, and even put in a big push at the end.

PJL Will try to keep up with Dave, but can't see myself going sub-5 just yet.

Hot hot hot! Expecting more of a race from DaveA and Stuart Little, but went out at my own pace, gaining a good early lead. Worried I might have gone out too fast, but first lap time was about right for PB (1:16) so decided to try and maintain that pace. Second lap went well, slowed a bit on lap 3 but the time called out to me on the bell suggested I could still get a PB so with the girls cheering me on I dug deep and went for it. Sprinted to the line to find I'd run within 0.5sec of my PB - as last time, it was 5:15:xx rounded up to 5:16. Very pleased with that considering a distinct lack of training recently. With some specific training I should be able to do better, but sub-5 still seems a long way off.

SiLeeds Well I predicted a 6.20 and managed a 6.03 and I went out way too slow for a change so brilliant news as there is a 5.40 there in about a month and its good to see where you are at after a month of good training :)
