Doctor K Doing this with a mate who lives near the venue. Not expecting anywhere near a PB just going to enjoy the run. A warm day !! Lovely scenery but suffered on the run with the heat a bit. Garmin recorded 6.49 miles (10.44km) just about bang on distance given in the blurb. Nice lunch after at a friend's in Cranbeck village

mawngyguy Erm, being a tourist, I wanted to see where Brideshead Revisited was filmed. Update: Lovely day, started more sensibly than usual, still tired towards the end, managed a 'sprint' finish. :-) Met TooLilac on the start line, and murmured and smiled at a couple of others, but still shy! Noticed you can actually camp there - maybe next year. Hung around all day enjoying the sunshine, and joined the queue heading back from the coast in the evening. Yay.

TooLilac am doing this instead of the cancer research 10km race at castle howard. **Update: god it was hot ! was pretty pleased with my time - was v pleased to get round in one piece. Excellent fetchspotting - Suzeedee, XPS, DrK & Mawngyguy too :)*
