SimonF Great atmosphere and a well organised race, but really disappointing time for me. My pacing was poor as I did a sub 41 minutes first 10K, and then fell apart. Bit of an effort to get over the Pennines and probably won't do this one again.

Should Av Run Quicker Stayed with a couple of our club runners for the first 4 miles then thought I was faster than I actually am as decided to increase the pace, this was a mistake as they came past me later on. I thought I would have gone a bit quicker but still managed a PB in the end. Nipped a few places in the final sprint. I've never been able to judge the finish in this race, as the crowds start well before the finish and I misjudge the sprint every time.

jolguk Ran with Rick, and pretty much knew it was going well from the start. Stuck religiously to mile splits. I had to let him go ahead near the time, but completely elated with my time. Almost flat, good weather. PB by miles.

clairster Fabulous race with amazing crowd support. ran it slowly as been off ill and just pleased to be back out there doing it. Ignored the clock and focussed on enjoying the crowds and the run, it was a great day out and defo my favourite event
