disorganized ran on Hall's Blackcurrant Soothers; eased off after CP1 as a bit faster than planned + chest wheezing a bit + right foot/ankle pain in a couple of ligaments (where twisted in Northants 35 in June thanks to rabbit hole I failed to notice near Long Buckby); legs felt dead and leaden and muscles tight in Nike pressure pants; very hard work & only going fluently miles 4-8; mostly- from the start - and especially after, felt much worse than AFTER 80 miles of Ridgeway; how far this was because of the cold is unclear (nose still running, cough and going to the chest).

Mr. K. Aiming for just over 5hrs. Rookie error when followed a runner (unsure if he was even in the race) at 28.4M where I turned LEFT instead of right = added 2M (31.59 M) . Live & learn.
