Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Silver Strider Very hot day. Very early start. Nearly bawked in the portaloos at the car park before taking the bus. Met Neil on the bus. Ran probably 2/3 with Andrew from Birmingham. Fantastic views. Run Walk employed for the first time, on steep inclines. Upset stomach after race. One spell of minor dehydration and loss of coordination. Injection of electrolyte and ride shots seemed to help. Met Anna Finn. Ran in road shoes, a good cchoice for the day.

Capricorn Brilliant event as always - and they always seem to organise nice weather too. Although warm I didn't find it too hot, and there was always a breeze up on the downs.
My best time so far in the 4 times I've run this, so pleased with that (and won the LV45 which I never expected). Hobbling around today with very sore and bruised knees - from the fall I had quite early on, legs aren't sore at all today from the running. I always find my legs are fine after off-road races, and ache a lot more from the continual pounding of a road marathon. Track races tomorrow night ... hope knees recover !

MilestheCat The hills OMG they were huge, never did anything like this before. This was organised really well, cant fault it the goody bag was good, especially the Goodness Shake. However on crossing the finish line it would have been nice if the young lad had placed the medal around our necks rather than just hand it too us. Finished in 4.14
