Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Blister Big improvement on last year’s organisation, except for the start which is still badly marked also people not going in the right zones. Not as fast as I wanted but still a PB so I can't really complain, probably could have been a bit quicker if it wasn't for that wind. But I had terrible stitch at mile 8 for about 4 miles, almost had to stop a few times it got so bad. Also would have helped if I had trained with Lucozade before hand.

BlueWombat My first sub 1:40 half. A wonderful day, but the long stretch out of town was warm in the sun. Very well organised, and I ended up with a free New Balance technical T-shirt for coming in in the 100th minute (gun to clock time)

daz1927 My first BIG race. Bought a last minute entry of eBay, and blasted it. Was very surprised with my time, as had done an 18-mile LSR on the Friday and this race was Sunday.

Fat Man Runs PB by a fair bit - not an official time because for some reason my chip didn't get picked up - could be to do with changing numbers before the race start - but really pleased nevertheless.

Midpack My first time doing this race and I was very impressed with the organisation and crowd support. The last 3 miles into the wind were hard going, I lost a bit of time there. Reasonably pleased with my run.

Mooey Bit slower than last year. There was a slight course change. Enjoyed the crowds (even with my mp3 on!) No sponge station which I didn't appreciate - it was warm, even for March! Overall though, I was pleased with my time/effort.

TingTong The first time Ive done a race not looking for a PB, and it paid off big style, first time ever |ve ran any race doing negative splits. Beat my PB by 45 secs, without even going for it! Bath with the route completely traffic free is a great race, well worth a go.
