I've had to take a pause in my training. I picked up a bit of a bug. Felt poorly during my training run on Thursday. I'm feeling a bit better now though. Hopefully I'll be ok to start training again next week some time.

I'd better get on to that as well, it's a bit far for a day trip from here.

Well done for getting out there, GM!

Not many hotels near Draycote.
There's a possibly of a gathering for pizza/pasta in Leamington the night before. Just sayin' ....

Bit miffed about the weather forecast for tomorrow. My running opportunity is in the morning. There's going to be heavy rain, apparently. Heavy rain in the summer is one thing. Not so sure I want to go out in it in the winter. We'll see.

That's the same forecast we have for my morning bike ride too, SW :(
I'm not sure yet what I'll be doing the evening before the race as I have relatives in Coventry who know I'm going to be in the vicinity that weekend; hopefully I'll get to see them during the day on Saturday. I've arranged to meet one of my cousins to do Coventry parkrun on the Saturday morning :)

Weather tomorrow for us also not good.

But it's just weather and won't stop us.

Go and enjoy.
