I have a collection of mugs (6 I think) from Wimbledon Common Trail series,

plus a mug from Leith Hill half (which also included a t-shirt and cooked breakfast)

Still use mugs from races in the 90's, and i've always tried to give mugs rather than t-shirts at the races i've been director for.

I still use a wrist key/money/barcode holder from the Turkey Trot in 2005, a buff from the Nomad 50 four years ago and slate coasters from Keswick Half in 1989.
What i have never used (and indeed have thrown away) is my prize for being 2nd V40 in the 1997 Heritage Series in Nottingham - an ash tray!

I have a commemorative towel from the Inverness Half's 25 year anniversary (2003 I think), a Loch Ness marathon mug from the first year, a slate coaster, fleece hat and a metal water bottle from various years of the Castle of Mey 10k, china coasters from the Nairn Triathlon and a shot glass and miniature of whisky from the Moray 10k.

I am considering getting a pile of my old race tshirts made into a quilt. Or possibly collection of quilts.

I'm thinking about getting some old race t-shirts made into a quilt or blanket. The process of thinking about this has demonstrated that most of my large collection of technical t-shirts isn't race t-shirts.

We had a shelf full of race mugs which we recently gifted to a charity shop, however we have kept the Fetch Wedding mile pair :-)

I am seriously thinking of having the blanket made out of old T's, its a bit crazy I cant fit a pair of socks in my t's drawer, but then I use my race t's saves buying new ones :)

I am too fussy to appreciate a mug, glass would be nice but doubt they'll come up with a fine crystal wine or gin glass... maybe I'm just fussy hahaha

I do LOVE LOVE LOVE buff and also believe you cant have too many. I also think in this age of trying to reduce single use plastic a great running momento would be a collapsible cup so you can just grab a quick top up on a run past the water stations - although the super speedies losing valuable seconds probably wouldn't agree.
