Hello milers, I did my November virtual mile attempt this morning and managed 6.34, quite pleased but I'm sure I had more in me today. I may have another attempt seeing as I haven't left it until last minute this month.

Good luck with your attempts whenever you decide to do it.

Last Saturday's parkrun was my quickest (well, least-slow) in over a year - Fetch tells me there was an 11:19 mile in there. (I have a couple of recent runs with slightly quicker benchmarks, but it's quite clear those can be attributed to GPS glitches)

That’s a good sign Andy well done.
Well done FF.
I also submitted a benchmark which was a little quicker than Oct. As I’m doing RTS this month I’m just ticking over to complete the distance. I’ll try a specific one for Dec.

Roll up, roll up your October and November miles for 2024 are now set up ready for you to enter. You can find the links in the usual places on your preferred browsing item. 😁

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
