Also definitely a seasons worst! The Monday before Chester was my best attempt for October. 9:24. Hopefully it'll be better in November!

Thanks, FF :) Fetch gave me 98% for the pacing, which is a big part of what it's about.

Ness try a single mile attempt instead of including it with other training.

98% pacing is terrific Velociraptor

Well done for finding the correct thread EvilPixie 🤣🤣 I guess you need to do some more virtual miles and get some practice in ;-)

I had a decent attempt today. Conditions were good though cold at about 3C. I managed to run a SB I think, by 4 secs at 7:01, around 70 WAVA. But the reason for my smile by far was from chasing my SO DrMags, who managed 6:36 and a staggering WAVA of 78.3! I think that's her best ever race in terms of WAVA 👍🏻

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
