Thank you so much Yes it was a straighter course but the last one also had downs so the down counteracted the corners I think a lot of today was mindset |

Having had one of my lowest monthly mileages for a long time I thought today I could at least add a virtual mile! Usual mile+ jog to the mile route I always use, then had a go. Can you believe I took a walk after just 200m? In fact I lost count of the number of walk breaks. Given all that, I'm not too unhappy with a time of 10:15. I just wish I could make my head understand that my body is fine if I keep running!! |

LazyDaisy, well done for your virtual mile. The same time as January and 21 seconds slower than your SB so excellent run walking.

Well done, LazyDaisy. ๐ I ran my June mile attempt yesterday. Doing it when I did wasn't the best choice because it was quite warm. I managed 8:53 so not the best time this year. I'll switch back to an early morning run for the July and August attempt and hopefully improve on that. |

Well done to all those who have completed their June mile ๐๐ I was going to run my virtual mile this week but I have a dodgy left leg/hip/lower leg. I am able to run slowly but Iโm not going to chance going all out for my mile. See you all in July. |

I will do mine tomorrow and take what comes. My running is no great shape at the moment.

Mile done this morning, bit disappointed as it was 3 seconds slower than May (which wasn't great either!) but it was quite blustery along the coast and, as my mother would say, it's a poor man who can't find a good excuse.
