I've remembered that I actually have a fetch mile on a straight bit near me so I can run without worrying about watch as fetch will tell me!
The fetch mile is great for knowing the distance, but the time you get isn’t very accurate- mine was 20 seconds quicker for my fetch mile than the benchmark time for a mile within the run yesterday
Haven’t tried a mile or done anything ‘quick’ to take a benchmark from this month. Think I need to ignore this until August

I left it a bit late to run this, only managed it this afternoon. For once, it was a single TT mile rather than a benchmark from a training run.

Tonight I went for my run and was meeting my mam so I did my warm up to cross the dual carriageway and decided to do a faster mile to keep momentum, it wasn’t full push as it was SSSOOO HOT I thought it would be around 9.30 so quite shocked with a 8:47.

Thanks all. I couldnt have managed that at lunchtime today crikey! (and I love the heat just a slower pace needed - maybe why I love sunny days so much)
