Excellent 5k and mile PB @Sarbear.

That's a good 3rd mile @Derby Tup especially as it involves an incline 🙂 were you being chased up it by someone from the fens ;-)

I've seen you've been getting some hill work in in your runs and walks recently so you should be stronger on those little inclines at Lowestoft. My lack of running recently has definitely affected my pace and distance ability.

Unfortunately it will be quite a while until we visit Lowestoft again as they've closed Pontins down for holidays and rented it out to the contractors building the new nuclear power station.

My fourth attempt at the mile for December and rewarded with a season's best of 8:11 - chuffed to bits with that, I'll be smiling all day :-)

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.
