@Sarbear, there's an awful lot of stuff to explore on the site and yes some addictive stuff too. The training info and stats that are pulled from them are amazing and interesting if you're into that and sometimes take some remembering where you saw them but that's why you can add them to favourites.
There's lots of threads to join in with or lurk on and on the whole we're a helpful friendly bunch.

Second attempt for December this morning, another 2 seconds off and new season's best of 8:20

I can do better, another bash on Friday I think.

Merry Christmas! I just unexpectedly scraped 3 seconds off my GPS mile benchmark at parkrun. Nice way to start the day!

I shaved another second off my mile at parkrun today. Interestingly it was a big 5km PB (nearly a minute), but due to much more consistent pacing rather than any one section being super fast.

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
