crosses fingers - and applauds in advance. Day two is easier in spite of being upper body only. Just don't go too heavy - but DO complete. x

Day two done. Renegade rows are really hard and I had to drop the (already v light) weight on the chest press and the lateral delt rows. I also don't have the range of movement do those. I will feel that tomorrow ![]() |

Excellent, Linds! Renegade rows ARE hard. Have to hold that high plank position more or less one one arm (if only briefly each time) Worth going really light or even just tapping 'til it's a bit easier.

Yeah I wondered about just bodyweight. I was also worried that the DB would roll off the mat as I hadn't screwed the weights on properly. I might use my 2kg next time as they are hexagonal.

Absolutely use hexagonal - I swapped half way through once had to go heavier but felt so much more secure.

Nice one @LindsD! Renegade rows are proper hard. I'm sure I stick my bum up far too much when I do them. Back to it this week (after three fabulous weeks of holiday in New Zealand and Hong Kong) and it's a bit of a shock to the system! Picked up where I left off about a month ago and have got days 13 and 14 of my second time around done. I'm also counting lugging a heavy bag back from the tube as a workout given the arm DOMS the following day! Slight digression, but the really noticeable thing on holiday was that despite doing barely any of the strength stuff I have to help my grumbly back while we were away, after about four days I really couldn't feel any of the usual stiffness or twinges, but now I'm back at work it's starting to creep back in - suspect that says a lot about how bad it is to sit at a desk for eight hours a day regardless of the exercise you do ![]() |

I’m being rubbish about getting back into this but I’m going through a period of having a migraine every other day plus other joyous perimenopause symptoms. Got dr on 18th, hopefully soon after that I’ll get the symptoms back under control and hopefully get a decent routine of exercise back. |

Hope so Elsie Welcome back Cas. I'm sure my back issues are entirely about sitting at a desk. Caroline G sticks her bum up a long way in RR |
