I have always done them -even if they were messy and substandard.

Day 9 wow that was tough. 4 kg for rows and shoulders presses. 1.5 kg for the squat to press Body weight for lunges. Heart rate was well up there and POTS light headedness kicked in when I stopped, but the sofa was handy so all good. |

Elsie Too Day 9 IS tough. You must be - SHOULD be - pretty pleased with that. Do have a rest day before the next one. (she does!) At least! |

Definitely rest day tomorrow. And definitely pleased it’s over! Hopefully get day 10 done at some point at the weekend. |

Well done Elsie Too! I'm behind on my updates but did day 9 on Wednesday and day 10 yesterday. I started day 10 optimistically with my 5kg dumbbells and quickly went down to 3kg for all the curls! No major DOMS but I can tell my biceps have worked a bit. My press ups are a bit woeful too - I can lower to that 'just before splat' point and hold (thanks Pam runs for the spot-on description!) but can't push back up without arching my back. Some practice on the stairs coming, I think! I'm definitely feeling stronger, though, and have a bit more definition especially in my arms (more swimming is probably also helping) - just a shame about the bingo wings underneath |

I’ve got definite DOMS from day 9, going upstairs is the worst. But they aren’t as bad as post day 1.

TELL ME about Bingo Wings CasB ie I KNOW! My lovely coach said loose skin is one of those things for -ahem - slightly older ladies. I bet yours are nowhere near as bad as you think. Elsie Too I wouldn't be surprised if the CG sessions are helping your overall fitness and that running progress you blogged. Long Covid kind of knocks everything back doesn't it? You are giving it the kicking it deserves. (But please be careful xx) |
