Nice weights Sharkie

LindsD don’t be scared of iron, just do you. Some of the exercises I don’t use any weights cos body weight is enough of a challenge. And some I don’t do the full time before a longer rest. I’m really enjoying it and if I can do it after 2 years on the sofa, I know you can do it too.

Day 50/50 of epic heat completed.

Did miss the press up day.

When I completed iron I was quite proud of the achievement. Completing this one I feel like every day I've been the new kid in the class failing to keep up so only managing half the exercises. 🤔☹️

Shades press ups I can manage 5 now from 1. I suppose if I look at things like that I have improved on most things so that's got to be progress. 🤔

I can deadlift well over my bodyweight ... but can't do a single nose to the ground press-up!

Going from one press up to 5 is a big improvement. I think you're being too hard on yourself re the Epic, next time round you'll have improved significantly.

I can't do press ups which I have always put down to not just poor upper body strength but being too heavy to lift (same with pull ups) and I therefore expect to be able to do them once I lose weight!

Caroline Girvan - tiny but tough, sweet but strong.

Here's a thread rather in the manner of the Shred craze that swept Fetchland some years ago, or perhaps more recently (and less bossily) Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga each year. I found Caroline Girvan via geordiegirl (ta, GG!) and am well impressed with her workouts. I'm currently on Day 27 of her 30 day Iron Series and have STUCK TO IT. Wonders will never cease, I was beginning to despair of the likelihood of me getting any sort...
