I still check occasionally to see if anyone's beaten my one M50 course record (at a small and tricky to get to event!). Oh no PR for me tomorrow sadly, off to training! Oh best Cafe was the Gold Coast one. I'm steeling myself for all the one year facebook reminders |

We will probably be at Conyngham Hall (but we've said that before and not made it, so fingers crossed we do this time!)

Change of plan. Wepre or Chester for us, for logistical reasons.

That's a shame, Velociraptor: Delamere will be stunning in the morning, if the weather holds. I wasn't keen on Chester: very congested and twisty although it may have been an alternative course. |

I was looking forward to Delamere but there'll be other times. I quite liked Chester when I did it a couple of years ago. It did get bottlenecked in places, but I'd run the marathon the weekend before so I was just pootling round.

Dietenbach parkrun was very nice @larkim . It’s 2 laps, mainly tarmac with maybe 300-400m of gravel each lap, and flat. There’s parking nearby, and a toilet by the start. It’s very friendly - there was water and German bread available at the finish (I think that’s if someone has a special occasion), and a lovely guestbook to sign. There’s coffee available a short walk away too. |
