I've been on 49 volunteers for ~3 years now; our new not-actually-that-local parkrun starting this month should fix that.

You win, Cerrertonia :) I've only been on 49 since February.

If I'm not needed as a marshal this Saturday I'll grab a pacer bib. The usual 30 minute pacer is off on holiday.

WotD not a great or uncommon experience and it isn’t only those at the front, hope that they were removed from the results? I rarely go to parkrun nowadays as there seems to be a culture of entitlement and selfishness overriding the good points.

Even though it’s not a race, basic things like faster runners go to the front at the start & don’t walk/run abreast on narrow paths should apply imho.
