Jesus, that's rubbish WOTD. :-(

I had someone shoulder barge me twice at a parkrun a few months ago and then the same guy barged through a group of women but that's the worst I've experienced.

So not the same but I ran Parke parkrun today with my wife while in Dorset for a few days. As we came up the final drag a group of people who had finished just walked down the course 5 abreast not giving my wife the shortest line.

Hard course and a cracking cafe :-)

I had a lovely time at Ashton Court today - run there many times just not the official parkrun until now.

Got to catch up briefly with Rich K (not sure if he’s on here any more but certainly was a few years ago and took photos at lots and lots of races)

Course there is a lovely, and a good bit of hill training.

I’m local to Ashton Court but my aversion to hills puts me off and sends me elsewhere. However RichK is an absolute beacon of positivity at all times (across Facebook etc via both his own account and the AC socials).

If every parkrun had a RichK to promote their event, the parkrun scene would be a much better place.

RichK was a parkrun ambassador at one point but think he had a few personal issues that made him step back

Heading to Wallaceneuk this weekend, scene of my slowest Scottish Parkrun, post Covid & a bad shoe choice on my only visit.

Tour of the Borders sportive the next day.
