Beeston parkrun done - felt busy today but two local ones had cancelled and (for those number chasers) it was also a prime number.

At Guidford they have quite a lot of volunteers and they call out all their names at the start, 32 this week. Lots of applause during the reading.


The vast majority of runners join in with applause as the volunteer names are read out so I would say nobody seems to mind. It doesn't take long. I didn't mind being named as a volunteer last time, it was just a novelty.

ION I had a friend to visit on the south coast and took in Littlehampton Prom. 2 laps straight out and back and after driving down through rain all the way we got a perfect window in the weather for the run. It was fun to run and have a sea view and spend time chatting with the volunteers while waiting for mum to finish. Mum got under an hour for the first time this year.

Well done Linds!🎉 We did Jesmond Dene parkrun. What a tough course! But absolutely loved the route with all the different views and sections. Very friendly too, quite a few folk chatted along the way.


Jesmond Dene is a great Parkrun.
