Ally-C it certainly is, one of our most memorable ones and I'm glad we did it as a family today. First time since January getting together with our sons who have left home 😄

We always name all our volunteers at Stonehaven, there are usually only 9 of them and they get a big cheer.

I went flying yesterday, for the first time ever in nearly 350 parkruns, due to a tarmac anomaly. Lucky I had accidentally taken my thicker running gloves. So, although they were somewhat shredded my hand wasn't and apart from a bloody knee and a sore right buttock I survived and completed the run. My boys are suggesting a walking aid. Thank you very much, but no. Various kind runners checked on me. Nice people.

I've got what might be the ultimate in VI guide running challenges coming up. Bracknell parkrun, which is a real mixture of steep little hills, narrow twisty forest trails, muddy field and soft wood chippings. It's going to be exciting. :-)
