At Guidford they have quite a lot of volunteers and they call out all their names at the start, 32 this week. Lots of applause during the reading.


Probably just keeping warm. I'd hate that, both as a volunteer and a runner

Witney parkrun have had an extension to an agreement to use the sports ground for a further four years. Complimentary comments about the parkrun from the council.

Obviously good news for the parkrun and good to hear the positive comments - but why did they have to illustrate the article with a picture of a running event that is clearly not a parkrun (everybody wearing numbers)? Comments on stock photos and lazy journalism to the publication concerned

We did Jesmond Dene parkrun. What a tough course! But absolutely loved the route with all the different views and sections. Very friendly too, quite a few folk chatted along the way.
