No, it was in English as far as I remember as most of the participants were from the uk.

I found myself leading early on and missed the first turn but a Marshall ensured I only lost a metre or two. Finished second, but by more than the extra distance I ran

I did read the other day though that Firenze no longer exists.

Linds we did Caffarella in Rome in 2019 and the briefing was in Italian. There was a sizeable group of English-speaking tourists and the core team were very helpful and someone gave us info in English. They stored our bags for us, told us where the toilets were etc. It was a lovely parkrun, and memorable because a flock of sheep was being herded near us and we had to look out for them.

Have a great time in Sicily, we travelled there on the same holiday and really enjoyed it.

That’s the park I ran in when I was in time. The animals that were around being a highlight. I was gutted to miss the parkrun there.

I did Firenze on 29th Feb 2020 :-) I'm pretty sure the briefing, such as it was, was in Italian (most of the small number of runners were locals, and regulars.)

What I do remember, but didn't mention in my blog, was (like Faelladparken in Copenhagen) how 'simple' it all seemed - far fewer marshals, shorter briefings etc. I do prefer that sort of parkrun. The 'corporate' feel has taken over in places (no criticism of core teams here, it's a result of attracting bigger numbers I think. )
