8am and I might get to do a few more.

9am dents my day, if I was in Scotland my parkrun tally on all levels would be much lower

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’d quite like my home parkrun to start at 8am to give me more of a day afterwards, but I’d like all the others to start at 10am so I can do more tourism without having to get up stupidly early 😅

Currently trying to choose a Belfast(ish) parkrun for this Saturday. Any Fetchies in the vicinity who might help me make a decision?

Velo, I did Knockbracken Reservoir when I was there for Belfast Marathon, but mainly because it was easy for me logistically in terms of where I stayed Friday night. It was an unusual one, as it was around a water park, with slides etc, and one part a few runners jumped in afterwards to get some swim training in. 3 laps and runners went through a small 'arena' (a large marquee-type structure), and when I was there, there were young kids learning how to line dance. One incline each lap, but a fast course if there is not much wind. I would have preferred Stormont, but I couldn't make it work logistically. It is a 9:30am start in NI.

Thanks, Big_G :) Knockbracken Reservoir makes the most sense for us logistically as it's on our way to where we're going next. It sounds quite fun, I'm not out for a fast time.

Lol. I think we need to get that changed for your Frag! ;-)

I can understand some of the busy peeps feeling even 09.00 isn't early enough. Relaxed types like me (and volunteer, but not core team or RD) even 09.30 is fine.

Club run times make me laugh. There have been times where I thought 18.30 was way too early to get to after work. Now (often working from home) I feel that 19.00 is really late! Same on Sundays - I thought 10.00 was late on a Sunday. Now I think 09.00 is too early. I guess you can't please all of the people etc.! :-) G

I'd be up for an 8 am start or even 7 am :-) I consider 9 am late.
