Some of the running clubs near me don’t start until 19:30. When do these people eat their evening meal? 😳

I have often wondered the same, all the clubs around here seem to run at meal times. That's okay if your entire family run for the club, otherwise it's a bit antisocial!

For me it’s more about leaving enough time between eating and bedtime. I’m tired by 10pm 😅

Maybe they have a light tiffin and a proper supper later? As someone who quite often has their tea at 10 or 11 pm, it doesn't seem that odd.

If parkrun started at 7am, I think that my total would be around 384 less than currently. 8am, maybe 377.

09:30am start is perfect I think...allows a bit of a lie in at the weekend and doesnt eat in to the whole day. I need to leave at 08:36 to get there in time and often in winter its just emerging into daylight

Himmel in Arizona starts at 7:00am (April to Oct) & 8:00am (Nov to March).

Can see that moving to 7:00am all the time.

57.5 Days of Xmas Goofee is a regular as Prospect so you might see him. I wouldn't moan about the course though as I believe he helped set it up! ;-)

Yes, I'll be at Prospect on Saturday, 57.5, and was indeed the course designer. I didn't deliberately make it dull 😊 though I do suspect some folk use that as an excuse not to do it as it's the toughest local course! (I've heard it described as 'just running around some football pitches', there's more to it than that!

I'll wear a fetch top in case you do make it down.

Our intervals start at 1930, on school days bed time for me is 2100😂
