One took a cabin for that very reason but the rest of just had the pods. I lay on the floor for most of the evening as I couldn’t lift my head to get me to the room. Eventually lay down on my pod and managed a bit of sleep. Coming home was a smooth journey.

Pod'd on the way up, and though not actually articulately horrible, it was weird enough that I slept really badly, would cabin for a revisit without contest..

57.5 Degrees of Pain
I'll be venturing to an English parkrun for the first time in over 3 years (and that was the most northerly in Alnwick). Probably Prospect as it is a short jog from our friends' house. Though I'm told the course is a bit dull. Just need to remember it is a 9am start. |

Lol, yeah I was discussing Scotlands 9.30am start with visitors from Somerset last weekend. They seemed to think it was very civilised! G

9:30 is okay for runners, for me it would make me question my involvement as RD/ED though as it then impinges on the rest of the day even more by the time you have packed up, processed the results and done all the bits that an RD does after the run not withstanding the social side too. I'd prefer an 8am start myself lol

8am start here would be pitch black for part of the year. There's going to be some weeks here where 9.30am is a sunrise run.
