Enjoyed Lews Castle parkrun, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. G


It’s a tough wee course. We just left the car in Ullapool on a Friday, hopped on the ferry, stayed the night, short walk to Parkrun the next morning then afternoon ferry back across the Minch.

Wow, that's dedication. Long way for a short run. (400 mile return drive from Edinburgh, nearly 6 hours of return ferry time etc.!)

I bimbled on the ups and thrashed on the downs, so for me it was an ideal wee course! Not for a good time, but for having a good time, it was perfect! :-) G

GeneHunt59 and myself are planning to do Aldenham on October 1st.
Planning ahead I know but if it’s local to anyone it would be great to see other fetchies.

I'm not far but I'm RD at Northala that day. Some of the RDs are Fetchies but I don't know of they are still around.
