Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone doing St Andrews Parkrun on Saturday 27th August?

I’m not but I did like the course and a cafe on site.

Kieren i know Hollywoof! and remember him at parkrun way back when

Seems crazy to think about Wimbledon and then Basingstoke as parkrun moved out of London.

Little events ru by skeleton crews going for quaint coffee venues afterwards and just talking about running.

@gobi Yeah - it was super nice. I never thought I'd commute so far for a 5K.

My closest parkrun doesn't have a cafe so I miss out on that aspect. I think when I started there was a regular 120 ish people completing BPTT - with the odd American student coach load or someone getting a taxi from Heathrow Airport between flights.

westmoors Newent is quite an interesting one and much better than you might think from the course map and description. A bit in the middle of nowhere though

Newent is the parkrun I’ve enjoyed most from a position of being really underwhelmed on description ahead of time - if that makes sense. I even ran it with a buggy and still enjoyed it despite the hills and weird camber.

Kieren let me know if you do decide to run Bushy and I’ll try to come and say hello - I’m very rarely there these days.
