Weird… I find Rogiet quite quick for what used to be a bumpy trail course. There’s one short little hill but otherwise it’s flat! My last run there has 17ft elevation gain…

TBH it was more a comment on how rubbish my running feels at the moment Although given I am normally at Somerdale, Rogiet is mountain territory in comparison...

First ever parkrun with a buggy on Sat. Went well. What over event over the years would have made that feel normal, welcome and comfortable? G

Well done on the buggy run.
I’ve only done them occasionally - Covid curtailed the main stint for my 2nd kid - but parkrun is superbly welcoming for buggy runners.
If you’re that way inclined, there are a couple of good buggy running Facebook groups - one about buggy parkruns and another ‘the original buggy runners’.

Thanks tommy. My son is 25, but my grandson is 3, so the practice with the niece did have a purpose! I think it's great that parents (or grandparents) bring the kids along for a parkrun - gets them into great habits, activities, spirit of the event etc. G

If you do, make sure they’re really small light ones 😀

I should be at Lanhydrock this morning. I better run quickly because afterwards I need to pack and be out of the cottage by 10am!
