Jeez, Foppotee! That's a fantastic 2k! Well done, mate, and I've updated the leader board.

And that's just from doing a bit of rowing? Get on a plan and take it "seriously" and the potential is terrifying.

Oh, and I’m going to see about another 2k later today but if I get within 30 seconds of your time I’ll be pretty pleased with myself.

That's a cracking 2k time Foppotee, especially if it's your debut 2k, well done look forward to seeing what you can do with some training behind you!

Did my first 5k TT for 16 months today, 19.38 compared to 19.36 in June 2022 so happy enough with that, now I need to stick to a plan for once and work on getting back to sub 19.

Foppotee , that’s a great place to start !! I’m sure you’ll have chunks of that over the coming months !

Craggy, nice going fella! I’d love that later this week.

Had a 3 day lay off with a bit of a snotty head but came back today on day 1 week 1 of Pete Plan.

8 x 500s targeting to match last months 1:49.8 Very chuffed with 1:48.6 ( quite surprised) still not sure whether to do the 2k TT this week or next.

I've been doing a little more rowing this year and have got out of the habit of removing the batteries between rows to stop them going flat when the rower was idle. (This is a PITA, you have to re-enter the time/date every time you put them back in. If the PM had a little coin cell to power the clock, that chore could be avoided.)

I noticed today that the Duracell Ds that I put in a couple of months ago were down to 6% today. That doesn't seem very long, so I've created a poll to see what your experience is. You can tick multiple options if you want.

I never take them out. They seem to last a long long time

I miss the old PM4 and its rechargeable battery. If you rowed regularly it charged it up forever !!

I’ve never taken them out either.
Although the rower is 14 months old.

I only change them when they go flat. The batteries in the previous erg's PM3 lasted years. I currently have a PM5 and expect them to do similarly although it has a backlight.
