Very short session but enjoyed it - pyramids, 250 down to 100 and back up again. 19 left to tick off this month!

Well done, SK and Nellers. Ticking off the sessions is good, but it’s even better when you enjoy them!
Steady 10K for me this morning. Starting to feel the benefit of a few longer rows during the Holiday Challenge, so must make sure I keep these up.

I like pyramids. Always enjoy the one in the Pete Plan.
I should have gone for a run this morning but I dozed off on the sofa instead. So I made amends with a good sesh on the rower: 15 x 3mins, 1 min rests, at about 5-6k pace.

5k this afternoon, first row of the year. I wanted to run but it’s an ice rink out there. Glad I did it.

What do you do Jef?
50 minutes at r18 this lunchtime (day off to watch people on the other side of the world pretend to fight each other.) and it feels better each time at the moment.

Police, armed response. .. and by far and away the oldest for many counties around. I’m on my last legs.
Pyramids ! Always did my head in. I’m happy with intervals but only when there’re nicely fixed.
Just plotting out my training. Not sure whether to have a period of Pete Plan or Wolverine. Had good sub 7 min 2km results from both in the past. ... Wolverine is a little more time consuming and requires more concentration. Hmmm 🤔

I think it takes more effort to figure out Wolverine than to actually do it ...

You be careful out there then, Jef. That's heavy duty stuff.
I enjoyed rowing the pyramids. I hated setting them up on the monitor!
I suspect that if I'd been able to stick to the periodized UT2>UT1>AT> etc plan I'd started on in the autumn I'd have had better results BUT I didn't really enjoy it and I found it very hard to stick to. I fell off it before I got injured or ill. It just didn't work for me, but I'm sure it's a good plan if it does work for you.
When I finish my month or so of base rebuilding I'm going back to a Wolverine-ish plan. I found Wolverine easier to adapt to fit and to stick with.
