In the event I did run yesterday and got soaked. Oh well.

This morning was one hour on the erg, at slow easy pace. That's about the outer limit of what I can endure before fatigue and boredom set in (even with Pink Floyd in the headphones). I doff my cap to the half and full marathoners.

And I just squeaked in with C2's holiday challenge. The grand sum of $2.32 goes to Doctors Without Borders!

My holiday Challenge ended on Sunday (161k) when I came out with a nasty cough, I seem to get a lot of coughs with my Asthma... or maybe it's Erg cough ๐Ÿ˜‚ thankfully Covid test came back negative so I can enjoy Christmas now! I'll be back rowing in a few days when I expect I'll be a heavyweight for a few days at least ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿป

Christmas will be a little different for many of us this year, but I hope you all have a nice time, Merry Christmas! ๐Ÿ˜

Nice finish to the challenge, Muttley. It all adds up and $70K is pretty impressive!

Sorry you had to call a halt, Craggy. Glad your test came out negative and hope youโ€™re soon on the mend.

I gave up chasing the 200k target at the start of this week too. Iโ€™d have had to put in back-to-back 15Ks every day this week, or venture into HM territory, and decided Iโ€™m not quite ready for that. Iโ€™ve finished on about 175K, and am pretty pleased with that, given that I struggled to hit 100K last year.

Hope everyone has as good a Christmas as possible. :-)

Merry Christmas one and all Hope youโ€™re having a peaceful one.

Currently in the middle of night shifts .. very quiet everywhere. .. so rowing is a little reduced.

Looking forward to my Christmas family meal and a nice glass of something sometime tomorrow afternoon ๐Ÿ˜

Greetings. I trust you all had a fun festive season, of whichever religious or secular flavour you prefer.

Just a moderate 5k this morning. This is the only sesh in which the aim is to beat myself from last time. Which I did, by about a boatlength and at lower hr, so all is good. A bit like a dog chasing its tail, I suppose. That's my second time round the Pete Plan almost done.

I got back on it this morning with a 30 r18. Taking it easy as I get over a bout of vertigo, but all seemed well today so I hope I'm building back up and getting back on it!

It is a D mate, but I definitely didn't need anything high to fall off for a few days there.
