Newer watches are better at trading information via connect, though body battery is still a bit sketchy.

I had my Garmin on charge overnight, it’s quite liberating not checking what it has to say on Connect 😃

Garmin is not impressed with me today. Body battery only got to 49 overnight and training readiness has actually fallen, from 10 when I went to bed to 8 when I woke up. This might be the day to do some quiet indoors Christmas preparations.

Ran 23:41 at parkrun this morning. Garmin race predictor still says 26:04 for 5k. 🤣

Raptors claws are coming to town
Since I didn't do two and a half hours at 9.40mm on Saturday my Garmin offered me a compromise of two and a half hours at 9.45mm yesterday. The really bizarre thing is that last week it dropped my target mileage from 50mpw to 10mpw and then, after I'd done around 25 miles, presented me with those big long runs. It's given me 20 miles for this week's target.
It's still gently negging me about my HRV. Overnight values unremarkable but it's keeping me in Unbalanced.

Done nothing for almost a week apart from some gentle flat town walking.
Recovery, readiness high, hrv is balanced but bobbing along the bottom of the green zone.
suggests 88 minutes 'long run' ( why 88 and not 90?) 143 bpm, (pace would be 12:05 which is not slow enough, tending to ignore both targets) will aim for an hour and see how I feel

My VO2 Max score has been steadily inching up over the past few months. Not back to the levels it was before I had an ankle injury that stopped me running for 3 years, but improving nonetheless. I noticed that it took a bit of a dive earlier this year when we went to Morocco on holiday and I didn't do any runs at all for a couple of weeks. This was also reflected in my Fitness Age which increased by 3 years (crikey!!) before getting back down to it's previous level after we'd been back home a week or so and I'd had a few runs under my feet.
So despite my VO2 Max score continuing to climb, and my run times improving my Fitness Age has suddenly increased by 1.5 years. Okay I have a birthday coming up but really?????

my fitness age seems to go up and down with my weight - despite it telling me to keep everything the same and I can't improve it.

Snap RH!
My vo2 dropped with my recent break and is refusing to go back up despite saying I’m productive and trending up
My RHR VHR and BB scores seem to be back to where they were in early October which is good
