Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

oh my, I lied!

- I just went to check, having not looked for a while and it tells me I have lost some of the gap between my fitness age and real age and that I should reduce my bmi as a higher priority.
Then increase my 'vigorous' days back to at least 4 (been a bit lax with the running for a couple of months)

mind it thinks I should reduce bmi to 23.7 - the weight I've been aiming for for ages and never quite getting to.

Raptors claws are coming to town
For the fourth consecutive day it's telling me to have a rest day. To be fair to the gadget, I've ignored it for the last three days.

Looked at the weather forecast and changed weekend rest day to Sunday, garmin rejigged the 'plan' and has prescribed 52 minute base runs for all remaining runs in the coming week.
Stuupid thing.

it also estimates 5.1 miles for 52 mins @143 bpm - it is pretty useless really (something approaching 4 is more realistic)

Apparently I had poor sleep (felt ok) so 30 mins base
I ignored it
It’s now decided I’m maintaining rather than being productive

Going by the last couple of weeks, I expect to be advised to do a long run at an unfeasible average pace tomorrow.

My Garmin is saying "rest" today. It'll be interesting to see if it says the same thing tomorrow.

My Garmin also told me to rest today but I ignored it, went for 40 min recovery run and kept HR in Z1. Travelling and sleep deprivation took their toll so I skipped the planned track workout and just went out to enjoy a run. Let's see what it says tomorrow.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!
